NAQUA Serves Pilgrims "Miqat Yalamlam"

The reception hall for pilgrims inaugurated at “Miqat Yalamlam”, Al-Lith governorate, with the honor of his highness Prince Khalid al-Faisal, advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Masjids and the Prince of Mecca, May Allah protect him. He was received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Dr. Ziyad Al-Hogail, and the Managing Director, Eng. Ahmed Al-Ballaa.

 

The project is one of the government initiatives and efforts to provide pilgrims with unique and exceptional services to promote the honorable and civilized image of the Kingdom as part of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 program. It was developed through a partnership between the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and the National Aquaculture Group, whose aim was to provide shelter to people who were sleeping on the streets or waiting in parking lots.

 

This project is among NAQUA’s award-winning projects, for which the building area of the project is about 1,700 square meters and the cost is estimated at around 8 million riyals.  The building can accommodate more than 300 people and will be operated by the National Aquaculture Group.

 

The building is divided into two halls, each with a section for waiting and resting, as well as a dining hall. Additionally, it includes a variety of other amenities, including:

 

  • Administration offices
  • 2 medical clinics
  • Restaurant
  • 2 drink corners
  • VIP lounge
  • 2 offices for advocacy and guidance (men and women)
  • Bathrooms

 

Pilgrims are provided with everything they need on the way to the Holy Masjid, including bags, guidebooks, and others items.
